Def. - •Real numbers consist of all the rational and irrational numbers.

Rational Numbers
Def. - •Rational numbers are any numbers that can be expressed in the form of A/B, where a and b are integers, and b ≠ 0.

Irrational Numbers
Def. - •Irrational numbers are any numbers that cannot be expressed as A/B.

Integers
Def. - Integers are the set of whole numbers and their opposites

Natural Numbers
Def. - •Natural numbers are the set of counting numbers.

Whole Numbers
Def. - •Whole numbers are the set of numbers that include 0 plus the set of natural numbers.

Perfect Squares
Def. - A number that is able to be divided into a number, that when multiplied by itself, gives the same number that started

Square Root
Def. - a quantity of which a given quantity is the square: The quantities +6 and −6 are square roots of 36 since (+6)×(+6)=36 and (−6)×(−6)=36.
