EQUATION

  • A mathematical snetence that shows that two expressions are equivalent.

A mathematical sentence that shows the relationship between quantities that are not equivalent.

The set of whole numbers and their opposites.

A rule for evaluating expressions, first perform the operations in parenthesis, the compute all powers and roots, then perform all multiplication and division from left to right and then perform all addition and subtraction from left to right.

Any number that can be exposed as a ratio of two integers.
