1. WHAT MATH CLASSES ARE REQIRED IN YOUR CAREER?

YOU HAVE TO HAVE, CALCULUS, STATISTICS, ALGEBRA, AND TRIGONOMETRY.

2. WHAT OTHER CLASSES OR TEST ARE REQUIRED IN YOUR CAREER? YOU HAVE TO TAKE THE FOLLOWING CLASSES:

  • General Biology w/lab, General Microbiology w/lab, Genetics, Animal Nutrition or,
  • Feeds and Feedings, General Animal Science, Inorganic Chemistry w/lab, Organic Chemistry w/lab,
  • Biochemistry 1& 2, Statistics, Physics w/lab, Composition and Rhetoric, Literature, General Psychology,
  • Speech, Communications and Technical Writing. You have to take one of the 3 test:
  • Graduate Record Examination,Veterinary Collage Admissions test,Medical Collage Admissions.

"WHAT OTHER CLASSES OR TEST ARE REQUIRED IN YOUR JOB?"

  • After graduation you have to take the North American Veterinary,
  • Licensing Examination.
  • "What do you do on a typical Day?"
  • We do a checkup on all of the animals, Give them their medication for the
  • Day, and we have to finish any paper work we have.

You use math by having to know when the animals need food and water, and how much you also use it by having to know how many pills they need and when.

The salary range is $40.61 per hour and $84,460 per year.
