WHO ARE THE ANCIENT GREEKS?
The Ancient Greeks were a Greek civilization that conquered Europe in 2000 BC and 146 BC.The Greek colonies were established in most corners of the Mediterranean sea, although the Greeks have always been centered around the Aegean Sea.

WHAT ARE THE GREEK NUMBERS?
Since the Greeks advanced in many things one of there greatest achievements was creating there own number system. The Greek numerals are a system of representing numbers but except using the alphabet letters to represent there numbers. The Ancient Greek number system was similar to the Romans/Egyptians but except these alphabetic numbers are known as Ionic,Ionian numerals,Milesian numerals, and Alexander numerals.

WHERE DID THE GREEKS DISCOVER MATHEMATICS?

WHEN DID THE GREEKS DISCOVER MATHEMATICS?
The Greeks first developed mathematics in the 7th century BC to the 4th century AD around the Eastern Shores of Mediterranean sea from Italy to north Africa .

HOW DID THE GREEKS DEVELOPED MATHEMATICS?
The Greeks started to have ideas in mathematics when the port of the Nile Trade first opened. When the trading post opened two important Greek figures named Thales and Phytagoras visited Egypt and on there way back they brought back knowledge such as mathematic ideas. From there on they started to create a further five axioms,1:The sum of external angles of a triangle equals two right triangles[180]2:The sum of external angles of a triangle equals four right angles[360]3:The sum of the interior angles of any polygon equals 2n-4 right angles, where N is the number of the sides4:The sum of the exterior angles of a polygon four right angles, however many sides5:The three polygons, the triangle, hexagon, and square completely filled the space around a point on a plane-six triangles four squares and three hexagons.

WHY DID THE GREEKS CREATE MATHEMATICS?
There was no explanation or source of why the greeks created mathematics so here's what me and my partner believed. The Greeks started to have ideas of how mathematics can help them out in life so when THALES and PHYTAGORAS visited Egypt the egyptians shared with them there knowledge such as how they can measure there buildings or sculptures.

As you can see this is the Greeks form of writing there number system.on the left is the Acrophonic way and on the right is the alphabet way of writing it.
