WHO WAS JOSEPH MCCARTHY?

  • He was elected to the United States senate in 1946.
  • He charged 205 people who he thought were communists.
  • He became paranoid from the communism in Eastern Europe and China.

WHAT WERE THE RESULTS?

  • The president at the time disagreed with McCarthy.
  • More than 2000 govt. employees lost their jobs.
  • National paranoia was capitalized.

WHO STOLE THE COOKIE FROM THE COOKIE JAR

  • This picture makes sense to me because it's about accusing somebody.
  • A young child would most likely be accused for stealing the cookie.
  • It could be some one else besides the child!
