What is Measles?
It is a highly contagious viral disease that's very serious even fatal.

What are the symptoms of measles?

• Runny nose,cough,slight fever,eyes may be red ,sensitive to light
• Spots on gums and inside of cheecks
• Red blotchy rash,weight loss,diarrhea
• Enlarged lymph glands throughout the body

Is Measles contagious?
The measles is highly contagious.

How many cases of Measles were there in the US in 2013? In 2013 189 people had the measles.

Do children get Measles?How many children in the US have Measles? Yes, but it is very rare for a child to catch the measles in the US.More than 20 million people get measles each year.

How is Measles treated?Take medicine to lower the fever,get plenty of rest and drink lots of fluids, and stay at home.

Is there a cure for Measles? No but measles can be prevented with the MMR vaccine.
