HOW DO WE MEASURE AND DESCRIBE MOTION?

THE SPEED OF A PEBBLE IN WATER

STEPS

  • You will need a cup of water and 3 pebbles, and somthing to time with
  • You will take one pebble and hold it above the glass
  • Then start you timer and drop the pebble at the same time stop the timer as soon as the pebble hits the bottom of the glass
  • Recored your data then repeat this with the other pebbles and recored the data

THE SCENT OF VANILLA IN A ROOM

STEPS

  • You will need a vanilla candle or an incenses with the scent of vanilla, and a lighter, you also need a timer
  • Have your partner stand in on corner of the room and you and the candle/incenses will stand in the other make sure to measure the distance between you
  • Light the candle/insenc with the lighter and start your timer as soon as your partner smells the candle stop the timer
  • Wright down you data and repeat the steps 2 more times and make sure to wright down your data Ses
