Feedback for our final products

After we had finished making our final products we collected some feedback to see what the target audience thought about the digipak, poster and music video.

One of the people Heather and I spoke to said:
- I love the designs of the digipak an poster
- You can tell that the genre is pop because of the poster and the fact that you can see the artist on the CD front cover
- The only link between the digipak and poser and the music video is the woods and trees
- The idea for the music video is good because you can see the way the artists gets happier
- The costume is okay and it is the same as the black and white theme
- I like the idea with the green section on the disc and back cover because it adds colour

- You could have included the CD front cover on the poster though and used a different main picture but the way the poster is now is like a big version of the album front cover
- Would be nice to see the artist's face more clearly
- The video is good however there are some bits that looks a little shaky and when you are following the girl when she walks it looks weird

From this feedback I can tell that this person likes our final product. The products link well. The idea for the music video was a good idea and it worked really well to try and get the message across. The colour scheme worked well and she really liked it. She also likes the music video which is good because the music video is supposed to sell the artist.
If we were to change anything then we could change the picture of the poster and add the album cover to the poster however she also liked the way the poster is because it looked like a 'bigger version of the album cover'. We also could have picked an image which shows the artist's face more. The tracking shot in the video could also be improved if we were to improve the music video.

Another person that we spoke to said:
- The final products are really good
- If I would change anything I would change the colour of the font (the white with the pink glow) maybe try just one colour or experiment to see what colours work better
- I would have guessed that the album is about romance/dark romance and could be a pop genre
- The music video is really good and I like the way the artist is singing the song
- If I was going to change one thing about the video then I would have put more of the 'acting' scenes in and improved the scene where the artist is laughing.

From this feedback we can tell that the design of our poster/digipak is appealing to the target audience as she really likes it. It is clear that we have made it obvious what the genre is as well. She also likes the music video and the performance clips.
However, the text colour is an issue as it is not clear. As a result if we were to improve this further than we would change the font colour and find better colours to use.With the video we would add a few more narrative clips and improve the scene where the artist is on the ground laughing.

This feedback is reliable because we do not really know the person who gave us the feedback that well which means that she is more likely to give us critical feedback and not hold back.

Another person that we spoke to said:
- I like the image used
- I like the font colour but on the black and white image I don't think the colour goes well together
- I would assume the genre is pop
- The music video is okay but I don't like the bit with the artist falling off the log and laughing because it doesn't flow and it looks wrong
- Overall it is really good though

From this feedback we can tell that it is appealing to the target audience which is really good. The image which has been used is a good image. The font and black and white colour scheme is good and we have managed to show that it is for a pop album/video.
If we were to change anything in the future we would look into changing the font colour because the colours don't work well with the colour scheme. With the video we would work on the scene where the artist falls off the log and is on the floor laughing. We would aim to make it look more flowing maybe using one video to record this scene.
