A medieval manor wasn't just a castle sort of house as some would think.

WHO LIVED IN THEM?

• A medieval manor usually consisted of the lord's
• house or castle. More powerful lords might own
• several while knights or nobles would only have one.
• The lords would rent land to sefts who would work in
• the fields. The lords in return would owe them saftey.
