Buck joined the army at eighteen and server two years in Iraq,two years in Afghanistan, and then one year in reserves at the Naval reserve base in Fort Worth.

From the Naval base Buck then moved to Dallas to work for the NRA.

After serving the military Buck notice the police was getting a little to much power from handy down military equipment.

fearing that his life is at risk Buck wanted to move away from big cities but be in the area so when it does happen he is the first to response.

Buck is fearful of the US government ,thinking its corrupt and then will turn into a police state.
