PROPHASE

  • Prophase meiosis and prophase mitosis are similar
  • Each chromosome comes towards their duplicated mate
  • In mitosis they do not come together like in prophase meiosis

METAPHASE

  • In metaphase, the chromosomes line up similar to mitosis

ANAPHASE

  • In anaphase the spindle fibers desperate the chromosomes
4.

TELOPHASE

  • In telophase, the spindle fibers have pulled the chromosomes away
  • They are getting ready to make 2 new cells
5.

PROPHASE II

  • The spindle fibers have pulled together 2 new cells
  • They appear as the first cell did, just as 2 new ones.
