MELT METHOD

EXPLAINED

MELT

  • Simple self treatment technique
  • To get rid of stuck stress and chronic pain
  • Rebalances the body
  • Rehydrates connective tissue
  • Increases extensibility and flexibility

MELT

  • Creates space in the joints
  • Improves Body Sense
  • Resets your Auto pilot
  • Supports your body's ability to heal itself
  • Yields ease in movement

CONNECTIVE TISSUE

HOW DO WE KNOW IF IT IS DEHYDRATED

SYMPTOMS

  • Stiffness and achiness upon rising
  • Inflammation
  • Trouble sleeping
  • Constipation
  • Extra weight

SYMPTOMS

  • Lack of energy
  • Stress injuries
  • Joint pain or swelling
  • Headaches
  • Poor digestion

SYMPTOMS

  • Wrinkles
  • Poor posture
  • Poor balance
  • Loose, hyper mobile joints
  • Anxiety,depression, mood swings

THE 4 R's: The MELT PROTOCOL

  • RECONNECT
  • REBALANCE
  • REHYDRATE
  • RELEASE
  • Each R has different techniques

RECONNECT

  • Assessing your body's current state
  • Quiets the nervous system to de-stress the body
  • Heightens your body sense
  • Must do BEFORE and AFTER each treatment
  • ESSENTIAL TO ACHIEVE LASTING CHANGES

REBALANCE

  • Diaphragm
  • De-stresses the Autopilot
  • Increases body's efficiency
  • By rebalancing the Neurocore
  • Helps with gut issues and back pain

REHYDRATE

  • MELT rejuvenates connective tissue
  • Relieves trapped tension
  • Helps keep us pain free and mobile
  • Length techniques
  • Gliding, Shearing, and Rinsing.

RELEASE

  • Decompression techniques
  • Release fixation in the joints
  • So improved range of motion
  • Improves posture
  • And whole body communication

MELT Hand & Foot Techniques

  • Position Point Pressing
  • Glide and Shear
  • Rinse
  • Friction
  • All LIGHT TOUCH

POSITION POINT PRESSING

  • Mobilizes the joints, creates space to bring fluid there
  • Stimulates connective tissue and nerves
  • 100% of body weight does not have to be on ball
  • The key is to maintain tolerable pressure at each point
  • Feet are side to side for #1, stagger feet #2-5

GLIDE & SHEAR

  • Activates rehydration of CT
  • Gliding is a back and forth motion
  • Introduces compression without over stimulating
  • Shearing stimulates fluid production deep within CT
  • Also improves flexibility and strength of local joint space

RINSING

  • Stimulates the flow of fluid throughout the body
  • Done in one direction with consistent pressure
  • Flushes the tissue with fresh hydration
  • Stimulates the circulation of fluids through the entire body
  • Relieves tension in the neck and the low back

FRICTION

  • Light, random directions
  • Stimulates the superficial CT
  • Encourages fluid movement in CT, lymphatic and capillary systems
  • Activates fluid reabsorption
  • And recycling via the lymphatic system

FOCUSED BREATH CONCEPT

  • Focus your breathing into the point you are compressing
  • This sends a message to the nervous system
  • And triggers the hydration effect
  • Stimulates receptors in the tissues and circulates blood and fluids
  • Heightens you Body Sense

COMPRESSION POINTS ON THE HAND

EACH NUMBER AFFECTS AN AREA OF THE BODY

HAND POINTS

  • #1 Diaphragm, stomach,liver
  • #2 Skull, ears, eyes, lung, breast
  • #3 Adrenal, thyroid, glands and cervical spine
  • #4 Mid spine thoracic region
  • #5 Intestines, low back, pelvic organs

COMPRESSION POINTS ON THE FOOT

EACH NUMBER AFFECTS AN AREA OF THE BODY

FOOT POINTS

  • #1 Diaphragm, liver
  • #2 Skull, eyes, ears, head, neck, jaw
  • #3a Digestion, pancreas, duodenum, stomach thoracic. #3b cervical vertebrae
  • #4 Liver, spleen, gallbladder, arms, shoulders
  • #5 Kidneys, intestines, bladder, pelvis and low back bones

FOOT TREATMENT CHANGES

  • Reduced foot pain and leg tension
  • Arches are rebalanced and buoyancy is enhanced
  • SI joint is released, and low back pain is reduced
  • Pressure in the head is reduced
  • Overtime foot dysfunction, jaw pain, migraines, gut issues & breathing is improved

HAND TREATMENT CHANGES

  • Neck tension is released
  • Head and ribs are realigned
  • Decreased tension and tightness in fingers
  • Wrist joints are released
  • Less pain in joints
