HIS TRADE MARKS WERE: WINGED HAT AND SANDALS, AND A CADUCEUS, A STAFF WITH SNAKES

when he was a few days old he stole apollos cows

APOLLO LET HIM KEEP THE COWS IN EXCHANGE FOR A LYRE

the romans originally thought of him as merchant and trade god of corn

HIS FESTIVAL, THE MERCURALIA, WAS CLEBRATED ON MAY 15TH

he was also the god of science and business
