  • The group Mesopotamia is a ancient Mesopotamia.
  • Men and women both worked and had equal rights.
  • The occupation was farming (Bertman,274). Other occupations included the scribe, the healer, artisan,weaver,potter,shoemaker,fisherman,teacher,and priest.
  • Everyone saw their job as contribution.

  • Mesopotamia was a ancient region in the eastern Mediterranean bonded in the northeast by the Zagers Mountains and in the Abrabian plateau,corresponding to today's Iraq, mostly, but also parts of modern- day Iran, Syria and Turkey

  • Mesopotamia at first glance does not look like an ideal place for a civilization to flourish. It is very dry . There is very little rainfall in lower Mesopotamia. The mountains at the source of these two rivers, created an annual flooding.

  • Mesopotamia is a Greek word meaning between two rivers. The rivers are the Tigris and Euphrates which flow through modern Iraq. The Euphrates also flows through Syria. Mesopotamia was made up of a different regions, each with it's own geography

  • Mesopotamian farmers was barley, which grew easily and abundantly in the fertile all viual soil. Te people were staples of their own diet. Grain,such as barley and wheat, legumes including lentils and chickpeas, beans, onions, garlic,leeks, melons, eggplants, turnips, lettuce, cucumber, apples, grapes, plums, figs,pears,and dates.

  • The Mesopotamia culture also developed the first written language, religion, and Agriclture. Mesopotamia was located between the Tigris River and the Euphrates River. Insteresting Mesopotamia Facts the landon the sides of the rivers was fertile while the general ea was not and this led to irrgation techriques.

  • Mesopotamians used full armour. Soldiers were also trained to swim, horseback ride and able to farm in case of emergencies. The Mesopotamians used swords which is made of metal and the head and the butt were also made of metal too. The soldiers helmets were made of bronze.
