GENDERS, TREATMENT, HOUSES, CLASSES

HOUSES

  • The rich lived in big houses.
  • Nearly all homes were three stories high.
  • People built their home out of sun-dried brick.
  • All family's had a home of their own.
  • The poor lived in small houses.

THE UPPER CLASS

  • Men wore skirts and have long hair
  • Long hair,mustaches, and beards
  • Women wore dresses
  • Long hair, which they braided
  • Everyone wore cloaks made from sheep wool

THE LOWER CLASS

  • Where paid for there goods or labor
  • Stealing was a serious crime
  • Everybody paid, even the king
  • They wore jewelry but not made of gold

THE SLAVES

  • Slaves were auction for less than a donkey
  • But more than a cow
  • Slaves worked for the king, the temple, and the wealthy

GENDERS

  • Women were not equal to men
  • They did have the rights to buy and sell goods,
  • Have there own businesses, and go to the market
  • Men did the job of fishing,hunting, and making weapons
