MESOPOTAMIA

  • Location 33 degrees north 45 degree east.
  • The location ware Iraq is at this moment
  • It is between Tigris and the Euphrates.
  • Multiple mountains, hills, and river and plains
  • they also grow crops and drink fresh water from the river and bathe

AGRICULTURE

  • The rivers held food like fish.
  • To have a civilization and had large city's.
  • Animal production contributes 30% of the total agriculture in come.
  • They also irrigate land and grow crops on large field.
  • The mountains snow melted and gave water to the crops.

MESOPOTAMIA THEN V.S NOW

  • Instead of hunting or fishing we use stores and markets.
  • Instead of using mud as bricks for homes we use wood or reel brick.
  • Some still hunt and fish like then.
  • In mesopotamia they farmed and we still do.
  • They used to live in log cabins now, we live in strong brick houses.

HOW IT AFFECTED FARMERS

  • Farmers was affected by animals
  • The animals started to eat the food that the farmers grew
  • The animals could take bites of the food that the farmers grow
  • There would be droits during the summer
  • During winter the snow would cover crops so they could not grow.
