METAMORPHOSIS

There are two types of metamorphosis. These are Complete and Incomplete metamorphosis. I will explain both of them.

COMPLETE METAMORPHOSIS

  • Egg-a mother insect lays an egg.
  • Larva- When an egg hatches, a worm-like larva results
  • Pupa- a place for the insect to form into an adult
  • Adult-the result of the pupa

  • Egg- a mother insect lays eggs
  • Nymph-a small form of an adult
  • Adult- a bigger version of a nymph
