In a kitchen there are a lot of things you can use to measure things. An example would be a kitchen scale or measuring cup.

This bottle of shampoo has 180 mL. There are many things in a bathroom involving the metric system. Conditioner, lotion, and body soap have units.
Coca-Cola
This bottle of coke is 2 liters.There are a lot of liquids in a kitchen that involve the metric system. A lot of liquids are measured for recipes and baking.
Crest Toothpaste
This tube of toothpaste has 127 g. In a bathroom there are things like mouth wash and toothpaste that are measured in metric units.
Speed Limit Signs
Every day, on the way, to school, I see speed limit signs. But in other countries that use the metric system, they put kilometers under. The miles are converted to kilometers so they can identify the metric system in miles.
