MEXICO

RELIGION

• In the begining are ancestors believed in Nahua religion
• They worshipped several deities, which were ritualistic cannibalism and human sacrifices.
• But when los conquistadores came Mexico became catholic.
• Worshipping dios, Jesus, and Virgin of Guadalupe.
• But after a few decades protestants grew to 9%.

FOOD

• In the past are ancesters ate grains of maze and beans.
• Most of food was also fruits, vegstables, meat, and bugs.
• Now we eat tacos, posole, tamales, and mole.
• We even eat pizza, cocco pufs, and donuts.
• So now we mostly eat and drink items that are American and Mexican

MUSIC/ENTERTAINMENT

• In the ancient past music was used to pass down culture and religion.
• The instruments that they used were drums, turtle, log, and skin made.
• But are music now is both singing and instuments.
• Mostly adults listen to mostly tejano, norteno, banda, and more.
• But teenagers listen to hip hop and rap music.

HOLIDAYS/DATES

• For my ancestors they use to celebrate festivals for their gods.
• There festival were to honor their gods for the change of seasons.
• But now we celebrate Christmas and Easter.
• We even have our mothers day on may 10.
• And one of my favorites is Dia De Los Muertos.

HISTORICAL BACKGROUND

• In the past it was the Aztec's that were first than the Spaniards came.
• After that there was the Mexican revolution and we won.(1910)
• President elections.
• We were in 2014 Fifa World Cup.
• We even won 2012 soccer Olympics.
