THE ARTIST OF THE SISTINE CHAPEL, HE WAS NOTED FOR USING ALOT OF COLOR, LIGHT, AND TONE DESIGN.

Born March 6th 1475 and died February 18 1564
He lived and worked in Caprese Italy

INFLUENTIAL ARTIFACT

  • He began painting the Sistine Chapel in 1508 and finished in 1512
  • It was a very important chapel, most of the Popes were elected in it.
  • The chapel was made in Rome for the Popes to use, because it's one of the most religious country's.

SISTINE CHAPEL

  • The Sistine Chapel is a example of Humanism because it defines a "specific interpretation of the theories a associated with this movement."
  • It also shows both Adam and Eve as free and sported individuals.
  • It's emphasizes the aspect of the fall of humanity.

"-To analyze Michelangelo's own interpretation and rendering of these events and light he shed on human nature"

I chose this quote because it represented his paintings. Every time he painted he showed Human Nature and turned them into humanist paintings.
