LOCATION
MID-ATLANTIC RIDGE IS LOCATED UNDER THE ATLANTIC OCEAN.
These tectonic plates make divergent plate boundaries.

The plates move because of convection currents.
The Mid-Atlantic ridge extends for 10,000 miles.
The North American and Eurasian plates are separating at a rate of 3 millimeters per year
90% of it is under the Atlantic, the other 10% is when it comes out and makes mountain ranges
