My mother immigrated with her family. She has 2 brothers, one older, and one younger.

They came from Hong Kong, then they immigrated to Sydney, Australia. My mom went to Canada. After that, she went back to Hong Kong, then to Canada again.

China took over Hong Kong in 1997, so my grandparents decided to move to Australia, Sydney. Then to Canada for my mom's university, UBC. My mom went back to Hong Kong for work and moved back to Canada for my education.

My mom values education for herself and her family, her career, and her family. She moved to Canada for my education, which shows that she would do a lot for her family. She went back to Hong Kong for her job, which is why I believe she values her career.
