Mindset Profile

This is a great question!

my fixed mindset towards technology created fear and nervousness.

This class has turned my fixed mindset into a growth mindset when it comes to technology.

Before this class i had limited knowledge in regards to technology. I had no idea how i was going to introduce technology into my classroom. Now I not only know how but the possibilities are endless.

this class has introduced me to a number of platforms and innovative ideas to share with my students.

I was not sure how I would be able to use technology in a kindergarten classroom, but now I know it can be introduced at any grade level. there are platforms for all ages.

I have learned

Strategies

• set achievable micro goals
• praise efforts and strategies
• help students focus and value the process of learning
• create activities that involve cooperative not competitive work

the knowledge i now have will enable me to give students learning choices.

my growth mindset will enable me to teach students in a whole new way. They will get to experience hands on learning. Learning in this manner will benefit them throughout their educational career.
