MING DYNASTY - RELIGION

The main religion that the Ming followed was the State Religion.

The Ming held religious ceremonies at least once a month. These ceremonies included traditional rituals like dance, sacrifice and movement.

One of the main things that the Ming believes was that communication with the heavens was through their ancestors.

Over time Confucianism also started to grow throughout the Ming Dynasty. Many of the court members were also strong supporter of Taoism and Buddhism.

The society of the Ming was greatly affected by their religion. All of their events and ceremonies were based off religion and most laws and rules were made through religious beliefs.
