RANGE
American mink's range is around 70% of the U.S.A and all of Canada.

A study was performed in the 1960s to assess visual learning ability in minks, ferrets, skunks, and house cats. Minks were found to out perform ferrets, skunks, and house cats.

MINK FARMS

People raise them and kill them for their fur.

FUR USE
American minks are primarily used in manufacturing ladies' fur coats, jackets, and caps.
