Farm sweet farm

Welcome to my Family's CENTURY Farm!

Pictured are the Grainry and Milkhouse
My family has been Farming for 4 generations and has had turkeys, hogs, and dairy.

We milk around 40-50 Brown Swiss, Holstein, and Crossbreeds.

THE COW YARD IS WHERE COWS SPEND THEIR DAY

AT THE FEED BUNK AND SLEEPING IN THE FREE STALL BARNS.

In the summer...

our cows keep cool with a sprinker system on the feed bunk

The free stall barn houses our cows. We use sand for bedding.

The TMR (Total Mixed Rations) mixer prepares the cows' silage.

Inside The silo room feeds such as haylage and

CORN SIALAGE empty from silo and are brought to the TMR mIxer

The back of the silo room.

The pasture lane is where each summer

we send our dry cows and HEIFERS to pasture.

We raise about 45 steers for market.

THe Hay Barn

We keep heifers on the left, hay in the middle and steirs on the Right

The young stock barn

houses about 35 young heifers and steers. 

THis is my Family's barn quilt "Turkey Trot"

My county, HOuston, is famous in MN for Barn Quilts

The machine shed and our one of our International tractors.

Calf Shed

We move our weaned calves to this shed

We farm around 300 acres of crops such as corn, soybeans, alfalfa, and oats.

I love promoting the Dairy INdustry!

Ag in the Classroom is an event where I helped to teach children where their milk comes from.
