WHY EXPLORE MARS
We explored mars because it was the best place to live insted of earth.
We hope to learn why it is so dry and cold.
On mars it is dry and lifeless

WHAT DID I WANT MY SPACECRAFT TO DO, WHAT DID I HAVE TO WORK AROUND?
I wanted it to be able to land on mars safely
I had to work around mars small atmosphere
I also had to work with only having 7 minutes

SPACE CRAFT PROTO TYPE 1🚀
I originally thought that we would build a spacecraft for humans
I had designed my spaceship with thrustors and propulsion guns
It was designed to glide through space.

The changes i made were to make smaller to carry the rover
I didnt have propulsion guns
I also didnt have a big ship i had one like the picture ^^^

My final design had 4 thrustors.
It had a parachute holder
And a place to hold the rover.

PARACHUTES
Parachutes are so important because they slow the spacecraft
Its functions are deploying to slow the spacecraft.

TEST'S FROM GROUP
The thing we kept the same were parachute size and load.
We changed the size of suspension line from 7,13,or 21 inch lines.
The results were 7 for inch were1.7 1.6 and 1.6 average was 1.6
For 13 inch 2.1 1.6 and 1.7 average was 1.8
For 21 inch 1.6 1.1 and 1.3 average was 1.3

FINAL PARACHUTE
We decided to make the parachute by the average drop time.
The details are made of paper,4 suspension lines and 18 inch parachute.
Its performance stats are 2 1.8 and 1.7 the average was 1.8
