2.
WHY MARS?
Mars is similar to earth
Not as cold or hot as the other planets
The surface is rocky that is similar to earth
I hope to learn that we can live on mars

3.
Criteria
I want my spacecraft to
function properly , fly correctly, but the constraints are budget , materials ,and design.
4.
PROTOTYPE #1
The first thing i want it to do is carry humans
I added an escape pod so in case of an emergency
I added AC just in case we were entering any atmosphere
I added an extra supply closet just in case we ran out
5.
PROTOTYPE #2
structure:so can glide through atmosphere
Details:restroom,pilot seats, and escape pod
improvement: structure , less things more compact
i added those because i dont want to much things in it
6.
Final spacecraft
decision:i choose it because,it would create drag
imprvements:less room,parachute , escape pod
function: it has to function properly , parachute must work
7.
PARACHUTE
We need parachutes for our spacecraft because if we did not have them our spacecraft will...
!!!!CRASH!!!!
8.
GROUP CONDUCTED
Contral:canopy size and materials
Variable:supension lines
Results:longer supension line worked the best

9.
FINAL PARACHUTE
The data we used was the packing score and we can see if we were mission ready ,we calculated the canopy size and the radius of the canopy, 7x14 =98

WHAT I LEARNED
I LEARNED THAT IT TAKES A WHILE TO PREPARE FOR MARS THE I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE LIKE MAKING A PARACHUTE,TESTING THEM AND REDESIGNING
