Rosa Parks
(1915-2005)
She refused to give up her seat to a white man on the city bus. She refused because she wanted to be treated equal. She was arrested in Montgomery, Alabama December 1,1965 .

(1925-1963)
He became a recruiter for NAACP after seeing the conditions of African Americans as a sells man.

Roy Wilkins
(1901-1981)
He was a grandson of an American slave. He couldn't stand looking at unfairness. So he decided to help, declare any race in public schools.

John Lewis
In 1961 he joined the Freedom Riders. Challenging segregation at interstate bus terminals across the south.
