  • Jim ran away from home as a YOUNG child to join his adventurous uncle.
  • Unfortunately the camp was

rEADERS WARNING

  • The book is not too graphic although
  • there is a part where Jim fight his dog for a bloody carcess.
  • There is another example when Jim grows reckless and rides around on
  • horse naked. By arrows at the end.
  • dogs but these scenes are not described detail.

Characters

  • Jim is a reckless and untamed. He is an injun.
  • In some ways though I can relate to Jim. He is
  • uneasy trying out new things. Sally is Jim's sister.
  • She is loud mouth but very mature
  • She had to grow up fast. Dan'l is like Jim.

There is one more character Jonnie. He is the leader of the group in a way. He and Sally are workaholics. He always wondered why Jim is a reckless injun.

This book in a way resambles Fever. There is a part were Jim and Dan'l are alone on a mountain suriving together like some of the characters in Fever survived the pleague. It resembles Dragonwings most of all. Dan'l looks up to Jim and they have adventures together.

Throughtout the book Jim feels like his siblings don't really understand him. Altough Dan'l wants to him Sally and Jonnie are concerned by this. Why? They fear that he will run off like Jim did. Later in the book he gets frustated when hsi brpther rejects the gift of a stolen horse. This angers him. He is forced to put the horse back at camp of Indians from which he stole it from. He nearly gets himself killed in the doing.

Jim was always reckless he has scars throughout the entire book from when he was only eleven and almost killed by the grizzly. I mentioned this one slide two. His siblings take notice of this the whole book.

An import thing to learn from this book is sometimes you have to change. Change your lifestyle change well alot of things. Jim change his life to help out his family.

Jim's bundle

  • As an injun there is one thing you need to have to be a true warrior.
  • Medicine dream is the way you get a speacil bundle. In the book Jim
  • has a medicene bundle and it helps him in battle. It is every warrior
  • weapon in war it helps dodge arrows and more. It is like a good luck
  • charm for him.

Moccasin Trail is full of adventure and a thrilling heart stopping scenes.
