Mohawks

General Information

• The Mohawks live in Iroquios, Canada.
• They have 3 clans (Bears,Wolf, and beavers)
• Mohawk people call themselves Kanienkehaka, which means "people of the flint."

Housing

• The Mohawks would live in longhouse ( a house that is made out of wood and is small)

Food

• The Mohawks are man eaters. They eat deer, fish, rabbit, and BEAR!!

Clothing

• The men of the tribe wear Breechcloths and leggings.
• The woman wear wrapped around skirts and shorter legging
• Sometimes the woman wear a tunics
