Bio
I am blou, a New Age Emo artist based in Charleston, SC. I am a singer and songwriter with a major intensity, a unique darkened vulnerability, along with being an eclectic instrumentalist. I first gained an interest in music while playing drum set in middle school, my first instrumental love. I was always very scared to express myself when it came to music, but I eventually learned to love my interests and what my music means to me. I was in band for most of my high school career where I played various percussive instruments during concert season and Tenor drums during marching season. I eventually realized that band was not the place for me and I needed to create music. When I quit band, I had a very rough few months, but ended up trying out singing lessons. I immediately fell in love and started learning as much as I could, and in just a few short months I excelled exponentially and recorded my first EP.

Bio (Cont.)
In my earlier years of high school, I fell in love with the 2005 emo style of music, and that quickly became my go-to genre. When I started writing music, I decided that I wanted to create a brand new form of emo, so I could share what I used to love with a new modern twist. I have been majorly influenced by bands such as Panic! At the Disco, Fall Out Boy, Queen, Imagine Dragons, My Chemical Romance, and many more. I still have a long way to go in my music career, and I must build a fanbase. I have experience in performances in many different elements, whether that is formal, on the streets, or small events.

Bio (Cont.)
I produce a lot of my own music and have a great passion for writing, I have my first EP recorded, and I am very excited to show off the music I have to the world. I also do much more than music, I love technology and fixing computers, I love video games and a great storyline, I am a huge Marvel fan, I love design, and I love to scuba dive and travel as often as possible.
