  • He is accused as a lookout for a armed robbery.
  • He is blamed for the killing of the clerk at the counter.
  • He is in prison for a life sentence.

CHARACTERS

  • Richard Evans- The defendant who planned the robbery.
  • Steven Harmon- A sixteen year old who is going to jail for murder.
  • Sandra Petrocelli- The assistant district attorney who prosecuted Steven and James King.

THEMES

  • Peer presure- This is seen when Steve's associates with young men and take bad dissions.
  • Race and Justice- this is seen when the prosecutors think Steve did the crime because he is African.
  • Stereotyping- This is seen when his own lawyer and prosecutor call him a monster.

The Bad
I didn't like how a sixteen year old is getting put in jail for killing someone when he didn't.

The Good
I liked how all of the boys were put in jail because they robbed a store and commited on killing someone.
