CERBERUS
-Know as the "hellhound"
-They guard the entrance of the underworld.
-It has a serpent's tail, a mane of a snake and had lion's claws.

SIRENS
-Giant, winged creatures with head's of women
-They lived on rocks on the sea
-And used beautiful singing to lure to lure sailors to shipwrecks

MINOTAUR
-They are half men, half bull
-They eat men
-Minos kept them hidden in the ladyrinth (maze) in Knossos, on the island of Crete

HYDRA

• Huge serpemt
• Lived at Lerna
• Daughter of echidna and typhon

GORGONS

• Had the power to turn anyone into stone
• Were put in objects and buildings
• And one of them was slain by Perseus

CYCLOPES

• Gigantic, with only a single eye
• They made lighting ams thunderbolts for Zeus
• And there was a Cyclopes that was a son of Poseidon

CHIMERA

• Fire breathing creature
• Body of a goat, head of a lion, and tail of a serpent
• Its Greek meaning is "she-goat"

CENTAUR

• Head and torso of a human, and lower body of a horse
• Its lives on land
• And are found in many representations of Greek art
