- People were in colorado and califonia in 1852
- When they heard of gold in montana
- They found small pokets of gold in california and california but soon the pokets faded.
The Montana gold rush started on 1864-1868. It started when soldiers were paroled. Some men went to Montana to rest and heard of some gold in Montana. So they started digging.

A MAN NAMED JOHN WHITE WAS DIGGING IN COLORADO IN 1852,WHEN HE HEARD OF RICH DEPOSITS IN SOUTHWEST MONTANA.SO HE MOVED TO MONTANA TO A PLACE CALLED GRASSHOPPER CREEK. SO THE GOLD RUSH IN MONTANA BEGAN.
