He attended The University of Bordeaux for college, and grade school in Academy french.
He especially studied government, and monarchies . He was raised in a monarchy. Also, He was a fairly good kid. His teachers, and professors thought he was very smart, and had potential.
Montesquieu became a philosopher, and was a “free-thinker” according to “Charles Montesquieu Bio.com” Also, he was a lawyer. Because he wrote a book that technically means he as an author.
Contribution to the Enlightenment
He wrote a book called the Persian Letters talking about the government badly. Everyone thought it was hilarious. He was thrown into prison. He wrote another book, using his name and signing it. That was the book he was thrown into prison for.
Montesquieu was famous for writing two books. One is called “The Persian Letters” He got in a lot of trouble for this, and was in prison.He did not sign his name on it though. The second book he did sign his name on.
His impact on the world today.
This impacts the world today because Montesquieu taught us more about the enlightenment. He wrote the Encyclopedia. It talked about the enlightenment. Montesquieu did not like slavery at all during the course of his life.
