THE GREAT PYRAMID (2550 B.C.)
Located in Giza, The Great Pyramid was the largest pyramid ever built.
It was made of 2.3 million stone blocks, 481 feet.
Pyramids were built as tombs that symbolize the sacred mountain, striving to reach the heavens.
They were intended to protect the body of the pharaoh and were constructed to withstand the elements of time.

PYRAMID OF DJOSER (2630 B.C.)
The Pyramid of Djoser, constructed in Saqqara, was the first pyramid ever built.
It is 197 feet high with 6 layers.
Made up of 11.6 million cubic feet of stone and clay.
The tunnels underground run about 3.5 miles long.

THE GREAT SPHINX OF GIZA
The Great Sphinx is believed to be the most immense stone sculpture in the round ever made by man.
Located in Giza, sits a huge creature with the head of a human and a lion's body.
It is the first truly colossal royal sculpture in Egypt.
It has stirred the imagination of poets, scholars, adventurers and tourists.
