Interesting facts

  • Mainly seen in the Atlantic Ocean, Indian Ocean, and Pacific Ocean
  • Seen close to shore, harbors, and estuaries.
  • Tend to live in brackish waters. (mix or fresh and salt water)
  • Made up of 95% of water.

The venom in their tentacles can paralyze or even kill it's predators or prey.

They don't swim much. They just float with the currents. This is why they're found near the surface of the ocean.

Appear to be translucent/ transparent, meaning they have no color, so they're colors depend on their surroundings.

Moon jellyfish have been able to adapt to temperature and allocation.
