LUNAR LANDINGS

ORIGINS

• The first book about the subject, We Never Went to the Moon: America's Thirty Billion Dollar Swindle, was written in 1974, two years after the Apollo Moon flights had ended, and self-published in 1976, by Bill Kaysing (1922–2005), a senior technical writer hired in 1956 by Rocketdyne, the company which built the F-1 engines used on the Saturn V rocket,despite having no knowledge of rockets or technical writing.
• The Flat Earth Society was one of the first organizations to take up the cause and accuse NASA of faking the landings, arguing that they were staged by Hollywood with Walt Disney sponsorship, based on a script by Arthur C. Clarke.

Reasoning

• During the intensity of the cold war the United States came up with a plan to fool the Soviets into dumbing millions of dollars into an impossible project, getting a man to the moon.
• By getting the Soviets to dumb substantial sums into an impossible project, the soviets would effectively bankrupted themselves and ensure an American Capitalist society would reign over Communism.

THE WAVING FLAG

• When the landing was broad casted, viewers could clearly see the flag wave as Neil Armstrong an Buzz Aldrin planted the flag. Problem is, there is no air in space making the ability for a flag to wave impossible since there is no air to push it.

LACK OF IMPACT CRATER

• Upon landing on the moon, rockets ignited to slow the Astronauts decent to the surface. However, in all of the footage and photographs there is no crater from the rockets, even the fine lunar dust that covers the moon's surface is not disturbed. This only supports the theory that the module was simply placed there.

MULTIPLE LIGHT SOURCES

• On the moon there is only one substantial light source: the sun. this means that the shadows on the moon should all run parallel to each other. However, when closely looking at the photographs and film, the shadows do not run parallel but fall in different directions. This suggests multiple light sources, like the ones used on film sets.

VAN ALLEN RADIATION BELT

• In order to get to the moon the shuttle must first pass through the Van Allen Radiation Belt, that is held in place by earth's magnetic field. It is extremely Radioactive and for a human to pass through such a radioactive area would fry them alive, even if they were protected my the layers of aluminume that made up their space shuttle

UNEXPLAINED OBJECTS

• After the photographs of the Apollo 12 landings were released, Conspiracy theorists spotted the reflection of an object in one of the astronauts helmets. It appears to be hanging by a rope and has absolutely no business being there. The conclustion they came up with was that the object must be a spot light to help illuminate the "landing sight".

SLOW MOTION WALK AND HIDEN CABLES

• When taking a closer look at the footage of the moon landings, it is obvious that the astronauts appear to be in an environment with gravity like the moon's should be. however, when speed up to about twice the speed it is shown, the astronauts look as though they are walking on earth with gravity lie earth's. Now, for the spectacularly large jumps that the low gravity should give them, can easily be explained by hidden cables. Many movies at the time had already used this method, and low footage quality allowed for even more ability for hidden cables to lift the astronauts to spectacular heights.

LACK OF STARS

• In all of the footage and photographs taken on the moon, none of them have stars. Since the moon has no atmosphere there should be no interference to the light of the stars in getting to the moon. So where are the stars?! The theory is that to photoshop the stars in their exact coordinates at that exact time would have been impossible for NASA to do, so they decided to just leave them out, blaming it on poor camera quality.

THE "C" ROCK

• One of the most famous pictures of the moon landings is the of the "c" rock. In it you can clearly see a very symmetrical and definite letter "C" on the rock. Since the "c" is so perfect in symmetry it is highly unlikely that nature is the cause of it. The thought is that the rock was a prop, labeled"C" to keep track of it, and is only visible because of an accidental placement of the rock in the wrong position.

LAYERED CROSS HAIRS

• The cameras used by astronauts during the moon landings had a multitude of cross-hairs to aid with scaling and direction. These are imprinted over the top of all photographs. Some of the images, however, clearly show the cross-hairs behind objects in the scene, implying that photographs may have been edited or doctored after being taken. The photograph shown above is not an isolated occurrence. Many objects are shown to be in front of the cross-hairs, including the American flag in one picture and the lunar rover in another.

DUPLICATED BACKGROUNDS

• The two photos from the Apollo 15 mission shown above clearly have identical backdrops, despite being officially listed by NASA as having been taken miles apart. One photo even shows the lunar module. When all photographs were taken the module had already landed, so how can it possibly be there for one photo and disappear in another? The theory is that NASA used the same back drops when staging the landing and exploration sites.
