The Moore Oklahoma tornado happened on May 20, 2013. As the winds grew in speed and warm and cool air mixed the tornado formed causing $2billion in damages.
The air within and around the area of impact was also affected as it was polluted by gas leaks, all of the houses being crumbled making the air hazy from dust, and dirt, and everything that wasn't supposed to exposed to the air.
This event has definitely killed some animals and plants which changed up the biodiversity a lot. Bigger organisms not effected by the tornado probably died due to the lack of smaller animals that died during the catastrophic event.
