My Favorite Gift

• When I was about three years old, my sisters and I got a swingset for Christmas
• The playset was my favorite gift for several reasons that I will explain in this presentation

Reasons my swingset was my Favorite Gift

• It was a total surprise
• Fun with my sisters and cousins
• Spending time with my friends
• Exercise

A Total Suprise

• Neither my sisters or I had asked for a swingset
• My parents took us out back Christmas morning and the swingset was just there.

Having Fun with My Sisters

• My sisters and I had fun together in out backyard on our swingset.
• We pushed each other on the swings.
• We raced each other up the rock wall and across the monkey bars.
• We played squeeze the lemon on the sliding board

Spending Time with Friends

• We had friends over a lot when we were little
• We spent most of that time in the backyard playing on the swingset
• We hung upside down from the monkey bars
• We bet each other who can swing the highest

Freedom

• My mom was pretty cautious but she let us play alone in the backyard.
• Playing on the swingset without my parents.
• I felt older and responsible being trusted outside alone.

Exercise

• We were so active and energetic playing on the swingset
• We got hours of exercise doing the monkey bars, climbing the rock wall and swinging.

Imagination

• The swingset had a pirate's nest with a steering wheel, telescope and flag.
• We spent hours up there pretending to be pirates and sailors, playing house and school.
• We used our imagination to play make believe and we loved every minute of it.
