Mormonism began in New England, by a little farm boy named Joseph Smith.

On April 6, 1830, the Mormon Church was formed with six members at Fayette, New York.

Why did the Morman church start?
-Joseph Smith asked God which church to join, and God answers "none." He then asked Joseph to restore the gospel to earth.

Mormons worship God through prayer and fasting. By good works, by loving their neighbor, looking after the welfare of the poor and needy. By service in and out of the church.
