Moses Kills an Egyptian
One day, Moses saw an Egyptian beating a fellow Hebrew. When he saw this man hurting one of his people, he killed the Egyptian and hid him in the sand. This shows us that Moses is very loyal to the Israelites and he will risk everything for them.

Moses and the Burning Bush
After Moses fled to Midian, God speaks to Moses through a burning bush on Mount Horeb. God tells him that he should go back to Egypt and lead the Israelites out of slavery. Moses feels that he is unqualified for the job. While Moses is loyal to the Israelites, we learn that he does not have very much self confidence from this story.
