MOTOR NEURON

• a nerve cell forming part of a pathway along which impulses pass from the brain or spinal cord to a muscle or gland.
• The motor neuron is long and has long branches so it can send signals very fast.

MOTOR NEURON

• motor neurons are found in the spinal cord
• Motor neurons are in the central nervous system
• The human brain has approximately 100 billion neurons
