Moundsville Penitentiary is a prison located in West Virginia that held prisoners until 1995

• 93 people in the penitentiary were killed. 83 by hanging and 9 by electrocution.

People claim they’ve saw the Shadow Man, a static-y like figure that roams the prison grounds. The prison was built on the Adena Native American tribe’s sacred burial site.
