  • Mt. Vesuvius's most famous eruption?  in 79 A.D.
  •  it destroyed the city of Pompeii
  • Over 2,000 people lost their lives
  • They were covered with ash. When it hardened it
  • Made a cast of the people.

  • Last eruption was in 1944 and it is bound to happen again.
