• I went to college in Greeley, Colorado
• I've performed on stage in several shows, including opera

Why teach choir?

My goal as a teacher is to provide an environment where students feel safe to express themselves and explore ideas. My goal as a music director is to provide a rich variety of music for students to engage with theoretically and culturally. My goal as a role model is to portray a responsible citizen, with respect towards others, empathy, and a passion for learning.

Sure - but what does that mean?

1. In my classroom, you are safe to say what you think and feel.

2. You will learn about what music is, how to make it, and how people around the world use it.

3. I will do my best to show you how being a responsible adult doesn't mean you have to give up learning or having fun!

4. I like using big words sometimes. It makes me feel smart.
