1. The first move done into mummification is removing all of the internal organs other than the heart because part of belief it was the key to eternal life or the center of memories.

2. Next, Ancient Egyptians remove the lungs, stomach, intestines, and liver these will be the only organs that are saved and taken out of the body and are then kept in a specific jar.

3.The following step is to take a special hook tool and put it up the dead person's nose, and slowly and gently, once reached the brain swirl it out through the nostril.

4.Then you would take certain chemicals commonly known as salt and baking soda and cover the body in it and then wait a month. Over time the skin will turn black and the body will dry out and shrink caused by the chemicals used as part of the process.

The last step is that they are wrapped in nylon cloth which last longer than any other cloth then covered in a gluey substance and then wrapped a few times more to have a strong layering and be protected from anything that is harmful to the body.
