Step 1

• Wash the body

Step 2

• use a long hook shaped tool to remove the brain

step 3

• Make a cut in the left side of body to take out organs and body fluids 

Step 4

• Cover and stuff the body with natron and saw dust for 70 days to dry 

Step 5

• place the organs in conopic jars with natron to try

Step 6

• remove salt and rub body with sweet smelling oils

Step 7

• paint the linen strips with resin 

Step 8

• perform the opening of the mouth ceremony
• so the mummy can eat and speak in after life

Step 9

• place mummy in decorated case then put to rest
