  • The latissimus dorsi is used to stretch you back out to release the bar

  • You use your trapezius to pull your back together to pull down

  • It works by stretching to allow you to bend

  • Your quadriceps work in helping you go up
  • They work by stretching out and with the help of your lower leg, push you up

  • Your triceps stretch out to help you push the bar up
